چکیده

As a ground improvement technique, the new method composed by cylindrical cavity expansion (CCE) combined with vertical drains (VD) greatly accelerates consolidation of soft soil. In fact, applies radial displacement in Excess pore pressures will be consequently generated and process occur at vicinity wall. The dissipation excess can enhanced presence VD installed distance rd from center cavity. Because CCE installations soil, surrounding soil properties are altered such manner that horizontal permeability smear zone reduces. purpose present paper is to investigate subsequent around using Finite Difference Method (FDM) taking into account installation disturbance. Parametric analysis aimed effect extent disturbed zone, reduction on rate CCE.
